Come along and Experience IT, Share IT and Make IT!

Find out about getting started with all things IT including Wi-Fi connection, how to log onto the University computers, and the different systems you will use including your own personal student email.

We will also be demonstrating some of the exciting new technology available for UWS students this year including:

  • UWS App - One stop mobile access to useful information at UWS

  • MyDay - Your single point of access to student systems

  • MyJourney - Personalised dashboard allowing you to see your engagement levels

  • WebEx – Hold your own collaboration sessions locally or from any internet connected location without the need for a lecturer present

Dumfries campus on Monday the 5th Sept between 1pm-3pm

Ayr campus on Tuesday the 6th Sept between 10am-4pm

Paisley campus on Thursday the 8th Sept between 10am-4pm

Hamilton campus on Friday the 9th Sept between 10am-3pm
